Don't be 'that guy': How being proactive helped one client avoid a holiday breakdown

We want to share this letter from our client, Jerry, who says we helped ensure a smooth trip for his Thanksgiving travels.Just before Thanksgiving, we met Sherman at a local event, where he gave a 30-second intro about being proactive with our auto service needs and scheduling preventive maintenance. He urged us to not be "that customer" who calls the day before Thanksgiving needing major service.I remember listening to that and saying I would never be that guy… but I was wrong.After that meeting, on the way back to my office, my car was starting to have some major issues. I called my buddy Sherman and told him “Guess what… I’m that guy you talked about in your 30 sec!”Instead of scolding me, he asked me if the car was driveable and how soon could I get to the shop.
